First Day of School

I am a little late posting the First Day of School, but starting school is a crazy time of year (mostly for parents).

Lilly started 1st grade at Rocklin Academy. She has Mrs. B, the other kinder teacher from last year. Mrs. B is lucky she doesn't have to learn anyone's name this year. She already knew them all. Lilly is excited to have two really fun friends in her class. She is already learning about the globe, equator and sentence structure. Their class has a camping theme this year. Her table named themselves "The Woods."

Owen started kindergarten at Rocklin Academy. He has Miss W (Lilly's teacher from last year). It is great to already know her, how she teaches and what to expect from her. We're pros already! I am very grateful to her for being willing to teach Owen this year. She says he is doing great and can't believe how well he reads already!

As for Clarke and I, the trasition to having two in school has been super, yet wierd. We take Owen to school at 11:40, put Wyatt down for a nap, and there is actual silence in the house for a good hour to two hours. (I am blogging right now in complete silence) As odd as it is for us, we have been enjoying it and getting many things done.

The kids are having a great year so far!
