Cookies and Milk for Santa and Carrots for the Reindeer

After spending 11 exhasting hours in the car driving to Utah for Christmas, we hopped in the car the next day and drove another hour to Clarke's parent's cabin in Eden, Utah. In all actuality, I am very gald we were able to spend Christmas in Eden. The cabin so big it allows for each family to have their own room (our's had a bathroom, couch and king size bed). My brother and sister-in-law were able to come up and spend the Holidays with us.
Here are some pictures of Lilly and Averie baking and frosting cookies for Santa Claus

The cookies were quite the masterpiece. I had made green frosting for the trees, red for the candy canes, yellow for the stars, and white for the snowflakes. They both completely disregarded the colors and ended up dumping each color on each of their cookies.

Averie and Lilly putting the carrots on the plate for the reindeer. We put them outside for the reindeer and the next morning we had to unbury them from the freshly fallen snow. It's a good thing the reindeer found them!

The cousins listening to the story of Baby Jesus. They were enthusiastic about the story until it started quoting scripture (Luke 2), they quickly tuned out and decided it was much more fun to jump off the fireplace hearth. We tried!
