Good-bye summer!

The time is here. School starts for Owen tomorrow and for Lilly on Tuesday. Our summer was so fun, but the kids are anxious to go back to school. I am lucky to have two self-motivated learners.
Owen will be going to Rocklin City Preschool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and his special autism class on Tuesday and Thursday. Mind you, they don't start of finish at the same time, so I will always have to be keenly aware of what day of the week it is and what the drop-off and pick-up times are for the particular day.
Lilly will be attending Rocklin Academy. We just learned last night that she got in. There is a lottery system to get in, which took place in January of this year (8 months before the school year, is that necessary?!). We are getting good at the lottery system, should we try the California lotto?! HAHA. She has afternoon kindergarten, which is completely opposite Owen's schedule, of course, as well as different schools! I know Lilly will do fantastic in school and am just as excited as she is to jump into this new adventure.
Along with our new school schedules, we have therapy (always) after school for Owen and soccer for Lilly two nights per week. I volunteered to be the team mom for Lilly's soccer team, which comes with another full set of responsibilities. To top the whole new schedule of this week off, Clarke and I are getting custom master closet units installed Friday which means the contents of our entire closet are currently in our room. Needless to say, the chaos of our room is driving me insane. I am surviving on the vision of organization in that closet. I can hardly wait!
Wish us luck this week!
